Description
New Chamber Music for Flute and Trombone. This trio is based on two contrasting themes and utilizes subtle rhythmic and meter changes throughout. The trombone part requires smooth lyric playing and a warm sound when muted. Also there is a quasi-cadenza for the Flute and Trombone alone. This piece would go well with similar pieces by Fisher Tull, Howard Buss, and Eric Ewazen.
